At the end of December 2019, the decision was made to make a concept album with the compositions I had in the archive, where I found 7-8 compositions, done in a free stylistic form. Not all of them were stylistically compatible, but I left room for new creativity. When the lockdown due to the pandemic came after three months, everything slowed down because it was not realistic to plan anything... I slowly continued to work and in 2021 I made 4 new compositions that completed the conceived concept. At the beginning of 2022, I felt pain in my left hand and in February I was playing the pilot guitar without any plan... from April to the end of that year I could not take the neck of the guitar in my hands and I was already convinced that I would never be able to play again. Doctors, MRI, consultations at the Clinical Center... nothing could help with the solution. In the first days of January 2023, I felt that with the pain... sometimes more, sometimes less, I could play a little, so I started playing anything... half an hour, an hour a day... the main injury healed on its own, and the arthritis pain was bearable. After about twenty days I was convinced that my hand would come back, and after 3-4 months I was sure of it. During the summer, the vibrato slowly came back, so I was more and more technically confident. So, I made a plan to make a new guitar, yes, I would have a better tone on the album because I was already determined to re-record all the guitars, expecting that they would be better than the ones I had already played... and indeed, in that winter of 2023 to 2024, I made a new guitar with which I played all the guitars on this album in the summer of 2024....
